This past Ethiopian winter season has been truly special for my family, thanks to the Ethio Empower Ability Inclusive Center. My three sons and daughter had an incredible time engaging in activities that not only enriched their minds but also brought joy to our home. Every evening became a cherished moment as we gathered around the dinner table, eager to hear about their day whether it was Taekwondo training, Robotics, Art class, or the new Chinese words they had learned. Watching them try to communicate in Chinese at the table was both amusing and heartwarming.

Beyond the classroom, this experience helped my children grow in remarkable ways. They began using public transportation independently, building confidence and a sense of responsibility. They became more socially active, forming new friendships and connecting with their teachers. One of the most inspiring moments was seeing them walk through the gates of a higher learning institution—college—where they began to dream bigger and set goals for their future.

As a father, I felt proud, fulfilled, and deeply grateful. This winter was not just a season it was a time of growth, happiness, and togetherness. Thank you to everyone at Ethio Empower Ability Inclusive Center for making this journey possible.

We are deeply grateful for the transformative impact the recent two-month summer program has had on our son, Yared, who is living with autism. Prior to this experience, we often wondered what activities he could enjoy without stress and what his true talents might be. This program provided the clarity we had long hoped for.

Through the summer course, Yared not only discovered his aptitude for ICT training but also formed meaningful friendships with peers who showed genuine understanding and support. The joy and confidence he gained during this time have been truly uplifting for our entire family.

We sincerely appreciate the dedication of the program team and all those who made it possible for children like Yared to participate. It is our hope that this initiative continues with extended training opportunities, helping more children prepare for future employment and lead fulfilling lives.

My daughter, Rediet Worede, had the privilege of participating in the summer program initiated by Ethio Empower Abilities Inclusive Center at Ethio-China Technical University (EFDRE TVTI). Her experience there was nothing short of transformative.

Through engaging activities like hands-on robotics, foundational ICT skills, physical exercises, music, and a remarkable social engagement class, she did more than just learn she flourished into a confident and independent young woman. She discovered how to connect with others, articulate her thoughts and emotions, and most importantly, recognize her own worth and capabilities. Today, she stands taller, speaks with confidence, and carries within her the empowering belief that perseverance can achieve anything.
